If you've made it to my new blog--welcome and c'mon in! Grab a comfy chair, a cup of coffee or tea, and one of my delicious scones. So glad you're here!

And what is 'here'?
Well, I decided to begin this blog based on the unique life we have up here on the shores of the mighty Lake Michigan-- or 'the tundra' as one of my wholesale clients in New Orleans affectionately calls this area lol! Look for posts on interesting and unique features to the Lower Northern Michigan area--specifically north of the Jordan River in East Jordan to The Straits of Mackinac.
You'll also find musings on my interests--things that run from the totally mundane: cooking, baking, travel, Art and design-- to the a bit more exotic; Theories of Magic , Hoodoo, Voodoo, Witchcraft, Christian and Jewish Mysticism or Rune-lore.
So there ya have it-- welcome to my world expressed in a bit more detail than the quickie status updates on face book; though you can find me there too!
