Flea Market Blues

While in Virginia last week my husband and I stumbled apon a great little corner of assorted flea markets, antique shops and junk shacks that were so inspirational in their display that I took about a gazzillion photos of the amazing still lifes that the vendors had set up.. Here is a sampeling of BLUES--

And what did I actually BUY? very little! I am in a place of 'decrease'-- whittling down and thinning out of stuff. But I just couldn't help but be enchanted, delighted, and inspired by the interesting things and their compositions..
Where do you find inspiration?

Well, last week a bank teller drove me insane. Someone suggested I try writing based on that person. And I did...it was quite liberating and it's a good scene too.

I know what you mean about thinning out. I want all sorts of kitchen stuff for cooking. Wish I could switch the living room and kitchen.

It is harder than I thought--this thinning out of the 'stuff', but I am determined to be liberated of unnecessary items :-)
I'm sure the writing exercise was amazing!
