One Day Away...

Getting ready for New Orleans...

Today is Sunday -- the clocks moved back an hour and that always makes me feel a little discombobulated  but I have no idle time today to sit and adjust to it, we leave for New Orleans early Tuesday morning. That means I have all day today and some of tomorrow to finalize the things I need to pack and bring with me-- oh, like the majority of the stuff in my work room... *headesk*. Yes- this will be a 'working vacation' for me due to the length of the trip. It is not feasible to not fill orders for a  month so I will work down there. The bonus to that situation is NO SHIPPING! Can I get an AMEN?! During November when an order is completed I simply walk it a few blocks over and deliver it-yay!!!

But to get to that point I will need to compress and box the supplies that normally take a full shelving unit in my studio. it can be done but it is going to be a HUGE chore...

So that is my 'absolutely must do today' job. After that its stuff like clean out and weed through the refrigerator, do the last of the laundry so that hubby can pack tomorrow, and beginning to fill the entry-way by the front door with everything that needs to go into the car --packing that will be a real life Tetras game!  

Tomorrow is doctor's appointments, the last of the banking and a trip to the vets for the magical pheromone based feliway that will keep two cats relatively happy on the long trip down... Tuesday we leave bright and early....
