The Season's--they are a changin'

and I mean this is about changes occuring on many levels...

Physically--definitly! The trees are splashed with orange and yellow and the apples are almost at full blush. Last night it reached a Frost-low here in Northern Lower Michigan which is why my kitchen island is currently covered with the potted veggies and herbs that have lived happily on the balcony all summer.

Emotionally-- yes, changes. My rune card for the day is JERA. (I draw a card every day not only to ask Spirit what I need to be aware of for the next 24 hours but as a meditation as well). JERA's meaning is cycles, the number 12, harvests, karma, reaping and sowing--etc. I was most happy to have this card today. Emotionally my family and I have gone through the ringer with some personal problems made public and some 'friends' who were less than supportive. Yesterday was a real turning point in a 2 year ordeal and I awoke this morning feeling like maybe we'd all finally crossed a bridge and put this stuff behind us for a little bit. JERA confirms this. Emotionally I have moved from the heated frantic pace of a summer crazy to a deeper ,richer hued, more contemplative Autumn.
I am grateful for that...
