Who has a Kindle? Who LOVES their Kindle? I adore mine!
Being a voracious reader since early childhood and having an insatiable love affair with physical books I really avoided the whole e-reader thing for several years. It felt almost like a betrayal of my old friends, this new fangeled technology.
And then the Hubby got me a Kindle Fire--holy moly! Free Books, inexpensive subscriptions, entire book series that fit in my purse... I admit I am totally in love with this gadget. I still adore my hardcovers and dog eared paperbacks and I admit that I have not yet gathered the courage to read in the tub with my kindle like I do with a regular book, but I am totally hooked.
So, if you have a Kindle device in the next 48 hours or so you can sign up for a subscription to this blog! Super inexpensive (just .99!)and loads of fun! This is part of my commitment to blogging more and adding some great history and traditional tales, stories, and recipes from this amazing little spot of Earth that I inhabit. Can you tell me how to set up the subscription for your blog? I wanted to do that but haven't gotten that far yet.
I adore my Kindle Fire too, and that's after owning a NookColor...B&N is in trouble if the best they can do in response is an ereader that glows in the dark. lol
